This is the twelfth anniversary of 'The Dog' and we hope to offer our guests the best ever experience on an organized event like this. We have modified some routes, changed some menus, and added two new winery rest stops.. Sponsored by Silver Wheels Cycling Club, Inc., this website hopefully gives you all the information you need to choose the route best for you. Use the links below to check out all of our information.

We offer a three tier pricing schedule:

$35 until March 31st (We call this our Early Bird-Dog price.)

$40 from April 1st through May 31st.

$45 from June 1st until day of event.  June 1st is also the cutoff to order merchandise.  Mail in purchases must be postmarked by June 1st.

Online registration will be cut off on July 10th.  After July 10th, you will have to pay at the door!

If you are new to Dog Days, you should read our FAQ page first. Some of our Fs and some of your Qs may have changed.

The Merchandise page tells about the stuff we offer that can be purchased separately. Tees and jerseys can be ordered when you register, other items will be for sale at the event. Sizing guides are on this page also.

The Rest Stops page explains where our stops are and generally what we have to help you stay hydrated and energized. Each is unique, each is well-stocked.

The Area Maps page will help you find us in the universe. Well, in Ohio anyway.

The Cookout Menu is what it says. We go out of our way to provide our guests with a quality cookout.

The Wineries page offers a description of our four wineries and our new cidery that also serve as rest stops, depending on your route. Four different wineries, four styles of architecture, all great places to stop and linger before riding on. New this year are D&D Smith Winery and Paper Moon Vineyards, and we still have the nifty Red Ciderhouse with adjacent bakery.

The Lodging page offers suggestions for where to stay over if you are coming in from afar. Motels, B&B's and camping options are close by so you can start early and fresh.

The Route Maps page will provide links to our files you can print in color if you wish. We wait until county road crews are finished with all the changes before we publish these, usually a week or two prior to the event. Cyclists who use Ride With GPS will have routes and cue sheets and maps to use wih their electronic devices.
