Oberlin to Findley and Back

(Self Contained Camping)

 This will be a 2 day one night "2 star"  bike camping trip with 5 routes-you do not have to do all the routes-there will be other options. Doing all 5  routes will be around 100 miles.

PLEASE TELL THE RIDE LEADERS IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON RIDING WEDNESDAY MORNING.  Please plan on your own meals or make arrangements with other campers to share.  Costs for the campsite will be determined at the campground depending on how many campers we have and how many sites we need.  

WEDNESDAY AUGUST 30th-
 We will park in the rear end of the Oberlin Police Dept. parking lot (we will supply police with  a list of vehicles and plate numbers).
 Route 1- We will depart Police Dept. lot at 9:00 a.m. going to Findley State Park-19 miles.
Route 2- We will return to Oberlin in the afternoon(17 miles)-take a break and then go to ACE for the Wednesday all star ride
Route 3-We will leave at 5:30 for a return trip to Findley State Park-19 miles (bring lights, we should get back to Findley before dark but you never know what might happen)

THURSDAY AUGUST 31st-
ROUTE 4- We will leave campsite around 8:30 a.m. and ride to Spencer for breakfast-then return to campground.(15 miles round trip)
ROUTE 5- We will pack up our bikes and leave campground between 12:00 and 1:00 for a return ride to Oberlin Police Dept.-We probably will be stopping at the HERSEY'S ICE CREAM STAND in LaGrange in the late afternoon

SOME OF YOUR OPTIONS INCLUDE:
1. ride all the routes
2. ride route 1, skip 2 and 3 then ride 4 and 5
3. drive to Findley set up camp and drive back to Oberlin and park car at Police Dept.-then do routes 3,4 and 5
4. drive to Findley and leave car there and do routes 2,3, and 4
5. just do routes 1 and 5
