Time to start riding - it's what we do! The Chili Wiener Ride is the traditional kickoff event for the start of the current year riding season. Let the sun begin!  We will celebrate the riding season opening in the usual manner, a bike ride followed by a potluck.

If you are a new member, come and see what you have gotten yourself into. Current member? See if anyone gained more weight than you did over the winter.

If the weather is poor, probably only the folks who got bad weather gear over the winter will ride. Everyone will eat - we always eat..

Chili donations are needed. If you would like to bring a pot of chili, it would be most appreciated.  Contact the Event Host (listed below) of your intention.  Any side dishes, (appetizers, salads, desserts, Valentine candy, Halloween candy, or whatever you can concoct), will be gratefully accepted,.but are NOT required for attendance.  We don't keep track, and no one ever goes home hungry, except any diet dweebs,  tom if Eva is watching, or once when the wieners were left in the oven at home.  The club will provide a hot dog bar, coffee, water and tableware.  Once again, the green folks are suggesting that those so inclined use their own muffin pan as a way to sample multiple chilis and help reduce our landfill contribution.  The blue folks will just quit holding their breath.

The Depot will be open at 11:30  for food drop off. The rides will start at 12:00 and we will eat around 2 pm, maybe earlier if the weather is really poor.

Registering is NOT mandatory for attendance, but it is helpful to the social committee for planning. Just click the "Register" button in the blue info box on the upper left side.

We will have the usual great riding opportunities this year, along with several already scheduled fun touring events.  This is your chance to get started riding and socializing with old and new riding buddies, achieving goals, and enjoying life.
