DON’T MISS IT – SILVER WHEELS SWAP MEET
We’ve all been there! Do I really need over 100 t-shirts or 75 cycling jerseys?? (Well, yes. Just not the ones I have.) What about all of your other cycling related items you have acquired and hoarded over the years? Now is your chance to clean house!! (And get new stuff to hoard.) Silver Wheels will be having a swap meet in conjunction with our Depot Day ride on Saturday, June 2nd. The depot will be open at 6 a.m. for setting up and dropping off items. Any bicycle related items will be accepted such as clothing, spare parts, accessories, mugs, pictures, and of course bikes!! And don’t forget bike travel and camping equipment. Only club members may submit items to sell. Eva Weber will be sending out a seller’s record sheet to be filled out and brought with you the day of the swap meet. It will be sent via the newsgroup. We will want to know the items you are offering along with the prices. We will need these sheets to keep track of the items as we sell them. You may use tags or adhesive labels to indicate item, price, and sellers name. Please make sure that the tags or labels will adhere to the object!! We request that you price your items in dollar increments to eliminate use of coins. It would be a good idea to have smaller denomination bills to simply change making. Checks will also be accepted - we know where you live. Items that are not sold will need to be picked up by 6 p.m. If not picked up by then, the items will be donated to Elyria Bicycle Education Center. We will not be responsible for any losses. Please email

by May 23 as to the number of items you anticipate selling. Especially let us know of any large items you have to sell (ie. bikes, trainers, racks, etc.) as we have space constraints to consider. As always, we will need people to volunteer as swap meet monitors. We would like 2 people to cover each three hour shift. Shifts will start at 9 a.m. Please contact
