Leaving from the Oberlin Police Department (85 South Main Street, Oberlin) and riding loaded bikes about 20 miles to Camp Conley in Collins. Saturday's unloaded route will be about 45 miles through Norwalk, visiting the Edison Museum in Milan, lunch at D&D Smith Winery and a late stop at Sandy Ridge Vineyards. There are options to ride less on Saturday but you would be on your own. On Sunday morning, we ride back loaded to Oberlin about 20 miles.
The first 8 campers got the group reserved spots. We reserved the Shelter and West Point areas, which includes electric, fridge, 2 burner cooktop, grill, picnic tables, and fire ring. Heated outdoor shower and porta potties.
Even though we are full, you can still arrange to rent a primitive or electric camp site near us if you want to do that on your own. There is also a small heated cabin. If you want to camp, but do not want to ride your bike with loaded gear, you may be able to drive to Camp Conley if you can get permission to park (only 2 cars permitted at camp site).
