It's October, and you should know what that means - the All Star Halloween Ride & Pot Luck is coming!

Details are still being worked out, and will be posted on the Event Calendar as available.

The basics so far are as follows:

-Ride leader volunteers for 3* independent ride is requested, (not star chases).

Ride    Leader                Miles
1*     C. Burkhardt            12
2*     Hutter
3*     Weber
4*     Edmundson             25

-We will gather at the Oberlin Depot prior to the 9:30 a.m. picture taking time. Together we will proceed to Tappan Square/ East College Street, for a ride-by of any folks assembled to watch the Oberlin Halloween Parade, scheduled to start at 10 a.m. Riders will return to the Depot for costume adjustment, modification, or jettisoning prior to ride departure. All rides should be back to the Depot for a 12:30 serving time of a pot luck lunch, featuring hearty soups and side dishes.

-Got a great soup recipe? Give it the rider test.  Needed are about 4 or 5 crock pots of soup and accompanying sides, snacks, desserts, or anything edible.

-This is a pot luck, so all food contributions gratefully accepted, but are NOT required.  Just show up.  (We only ran out of food once, and that was because someone left the wieners at home).

-Depot will be open by 9 a.m. for food drop off.

-Costumes are NOT required to ride, just show up.(We've seen what bikers wear normally, and that will do.)

-While NOT required, it helps with the planning if you register your intent to attend on the calendar popup for the event.

-Don't want to ride, come anyway to see your friends and eat.

-If the weather is poor, the rides may be modified/ cancelled, but we ALWAYS eat.

-New folks, this is a nice way to meet some of the membership, and if you're shy, you can wear a mask.
