3 essential cycling classes $3.00 ea.
About the teacher:
Larry Best is a retired high school teacher who has over 50 years of cycling experience. He has raced bikes, done long distance tours, and has worked as a mechanic in cycle shops. He is a long time member of SWCC.
About the Classes:
Care and feeding of your bike. This class covers the basics of how to take care of your bike, your wallet, and your personal safety. What to lubricate, what to lubricate it with, and what
never to lubricate will be clearly shown. Yes, lubricating parts or lubricating them with the wrong lube can create disastrous results maybe resulting in $$$$$ repairs. How to avoid expensive repairs from parts wearing out prematurely, finding maddening squeaks and creaks and how to fix them, how to remove and reinstall wheels on your bike, and how to keep your bike looking and working great for many years are just some of the topics that will be covered.
When? 7:00 pm Sunday, July 9th
Where? Elyria Bicycle Co-op 408 Middle Ave. Elyria, Ohio 44035
Why? Because if you’re a beginning cyclist, or even if you have been riding for years, you’ll greatly benefit from this class.
Fee? $3.00

stating which class(es) you’d like to attend. There is a maximum enrollment of 6 to 8 students per class…no exceptions, neither threats nor bribes will make a difference. Please do not call to register.
Advisory! I’ve been teaching these classes for more than a few years and historically they fill up very quickly. Having a class filled the first day of this notice is not unusual. ACT NOW! Registration is strictly a 1 st come, 1 st served basis. Emails come with a time stamp which allows me to see who
requested a place in the class 1 st .
Payment is due the evening of the class. The money is used to reimburse me for materials used in the class. Please note that no credit cards, chickens, pigs, or vegetables will be accepted. As always, if you are a little hard up for cash I still offer my 90 days, same as cash option. After that, interest will
compound daily at the rate of 403%.
