4* Apple Creek - Maddock 60 miles

The time is NOT a misprint.

Please read fully as a response is needed to participate!

This is one of Tina and my favorite rides; we will start in Apple Creek, at Troyer's Home Pantry on the corner of Rt 250 and Apple Creek road at 7:30 am.  If you arrive early we can enjoy a quick donut before we roll. They usually allow us to park there while we are on the ride and I will get the OK when we get there. BTW Apple Creek is located SW of Wooster on Rt 250 about 1 hour and 10 minute drive +/-.

Why the early start? Our destination on this ride is Rebecca's Bistro in Walnut Creek and they only serve breakfast until 10:30, so we need enough time to make it before they quit serving breakfast. This restaurant is very unique and that is why we love this ride so much.  We can eat outside or in, and the location is awesome - with really nice views and ambiance. The food is awesome as well!!

As you can tell this is a ride in the heart of Amish country and therefore requires riding Amish roads, YES, there is climbing and we will regroup at all major turns. This is NOT about being fast, but the terrain can be quite a challenge. If you are a strong 3* rider and can handle hills you may enjoy this ride as well.

The route is going to be close to 60 miles.  We will go through Winesburg, Walnut Creek, Berlin, Holmesville and Fredricksburg, before we return to Apple Creek.

I realize that the Friday early start is not going to allow a lot of riders the opportunity to come to this ride, therefore I need you to contact me in advance to let me know you are coming.

If there is no response; then no ride! Don't just show up if you didn't contact me in advance, as we may not be there if no one shows interest.
