Gather in the lot south of the Jackalope restaurant.

We will ride east to Sheffield Lake using the bike lane along US 6 for 5 plus miles before turning around and returning west bound.  We will then cross the Bascule Bridge using the sidewalk and enter downtown Lorain for their Better Block celebration.  Better Block events have been used as successful tools in communities around the world to engage citizens in streets that are designed for all types of road users.  Marked temporary bike lanes will be set up between 5^th and 8^th streets and Broadway.  There will be pop up shops to visit as well as street vendors, including a beer garden, so bring some cash.  Secure bike parking is to be available, but a sturdy bike lock is still recommended.
