Each group will visit 5 checkpoints where riders will quickly observe or learn something about their bike. After completing their task, each rider will select a card from a deck of cards for their poker hand. At the end of the ride, if you stop at each checkpoint, you will have your 5 cards. The best poker hand wins our Grand Prize. Please stay and join us for lunch at the Elevator - they know how to serve cyclists!

Safety Town Event

Presented by the Education and Safety Committee. Questions - contact Peggy Doheny or Rob Hipskind.

The Education and Safety Committee will be monitoring the weather on Friday night (and again early on Saturday morning if needed) and will let everyone know as soon as we can if we are going to cancel the Poker Run.  We will send an email to the newsgroup as soon as we make the decision. You can also call Peggy D (216-533-97080) or Susan S (440-503-2034) to ask if the Poker Run Ride is still on to save yourself a trip to Wakeman.  If we do have to cancel due to poor weather, we will reschedule the Poker Run for later in the year.

The Elevator has asked that we park behind their last storage building or around the storage buildings.  There are parking spots by the Elevator that they would like to leave free for other customers.  There is a small park a block or so away with parking and there are a few parking spots by the Chapin Bridge.
