Gather at the gasholder building lot off the ACE lot.

We will be riding to the Arch in Tappan Square to help avoid parking problems. At Tappan Square we will follow The Wheelmen on their ride to Kipton and back. Riders should wear a Silver Wheels shirt if possible.

On Saturday morning, July 28, at about 9:30 am The Wheelmen will start a formal ride from Oberlin to Kipton and return. The Wheelmen members will be on their antique bicycles, basically in year-order and dressed in period-correct outfits. It will be quite a sight to see. We invite other local bicycle riders to join in the procession bringing up the end. Bear in mind, the pace will be about 8 mph to allow all our members to participate - including youngsters and folks on old and HEAVY bicycles. If you can imagine about 50 high wheel bicycle riders in knickers followed by 25 safety bicycle riders .....

The plan is to ride from the Arch on Tappan Square south on S. Professor to Hamilton to the NCIT, thus to Kipton. We'll take a water and chat break there before heading back retracing the route. I have arranged to have Sheriff's Auxiliary provide traffic control at the 3 intermediate road crossings and will stop and dismount at (but not across) the Rt 511 end in Kipton.
