New Year's Day Ride and Potluck
12:30-1 pm food drop off at the Depot,
1-2 pm (approx.) riding??,
2-4 pm lunch followed by optional games
As the year comes to a close it also opens our first ride of the year on New Year’s Day. Why ride on New Year’s Day? In the words of our founder, “Because we can!”
If you’re not into cold weather riding (why does January first look to be our coldest day out of the past ten?) you can always come and enjoy the warm companionship and good food we are known for. So far we have just two pots of soup so if you’d like to try out a new recipe, this is your time. There will be some salads as promised for those vowing to lose that holiday flab. If you’d like to let me know what you’re bringing please email me at:
midwife@oberlin.net
If you can, remember to bring your own reusable place setting and utensils to decrease our waste stream.
But you can just come no matter what. Maybe bring some board games to play.
Planned Routes - (distance/route subject to event day weather)
2* Osmialowski 9/16
3* R. Wells 10/20 3* Route
If you would like to lead a ride please let me and Tom Weber know so we can get the route on the calendar.
Cheers and Happy New Year! Pat Serio, NYD Ride host
