Silver Wheels  Version of the MS Buckeye Breakaway Ride - MS "Lite"

As some of you may know the weekend of August 1-2 was to be the MS Buckeye Breakaway. The ride is now a virtual ride. So PJ & Peggy Doheny and Sue Schneider have put together a  MS “Lite” ride for those who may be interested in joining us.

We will start at 8:00 at LaGrange Community Park. We do not know of break areas on the route (we are working on options – but if anyone knows the area and has suggestions they are most welcome) so it will be an adventure. Please be sure to bring water and snacks, face masks and hand sanitizer.   if all goes well we should have bathrooms and water at the Mapleton HS athletic field. 

The route is an in and out with a turnaround at mile 27 at the Mapleton Schools.I walked into the bathrooms there and also noted a water fountain that was operational.

Star Chase

The groups will ride the same route. Unlike a typical club ride, the leader of the faster group will not slow down to accommodate folks unable to maintain the pace, dropping them to be picked up by the trailing group.  The trailing group will leave no rider behind.
