We'll ride past the Bonnie Brae Elk Farm, although they are not having any open house weekends for visitors this fall.  If we're lucky perhaps we'll see some elk in the pastures adjacent to the road.  Last year on an October ride we got a magnificent view of a bull elk "prancing" back and forth on a hill in the pasture, silhouetted against the sky.  This is the time of year when the male elk do their bugling to attract the females.  There will be two pit stops on this ride in Rochester Community Park at approx. 17 miles, and Findley State Park at approx. 35 miles.  Bring your own snacks and water as there will not be anywhere to purchase these items. Some hills on this ride with 545 ft. of elevation change.
