GAZER FEST - 2021
NOTE: As of 8 a.m. Friday all rides are expected to go off as scheduled.

What's a Gazer Fest without a bike ride? Well it's lunch with birthday cake.
There is a high chance of thunderstorms Friday morning. In the event that we need to cancel the rides, we will still have Phase II of the Gazer Fest, which is lunch and cake under the pavilion.
If we need to cancel the rides I will notify Tom by 8am so that he can update the calendar. We will have the lunch at noon as previously planned. Gazer Garb is still recommended.
Please check the calendar tomorrow morning for any changes.

In celebration of great ride leader and middling story teller Bob Gazer's 80th birthday - I can remember a decade ago when he was only a few years older than I - some of his friends/ acquaintances/ a couple of guys off the street have gotten together and organized the following event.

All rides will start at 9:30. We will meet at the George Abram Pavilion next to the gasholder building after the rides and enjoy lunch and cake with Bob starting around noon. You may bring a dish to share or brown bag lunch. Electric is available at the pavilion should you need to plug anything in. There will be a "grub guard" to keep watch that the food is not compromised during the rides. Any potluck food will be served to avoid risk associated with self service. We have a permit for the pavilion, which is large enough that we can socially distance. Sue Wells will provide dinner ware and utensils. Bring your own beverage, no alcohol permitted.
Bonus points if you wear "Gazer Garb", e.g. baggy shorts, knee socks. Minus points for spandex. Double points for every pound of duct tape you use.
Gather in the Gasholder building parking lot east of McDonald's, off the Auto Zone lot
Club covid-19 protocols will be enforced.
