Sunday, June 12th will be used as a rain date if needed.
The class will include about 50% classroom instruction and 50% riding. The ride will be 10 miles maximum at about 10-12 mph.
Plan on spending from 9:30 to 2 or 3:00 pm. including a break for lunch. The class will be both fun and informative.
The class room part will include how to ride on roads, how to handle intersections, dealing with drivers, safe placement on the
road, riding in a group, how to treat pedestrians, and more.
The riding part includes bike handling i.e., swerving, emergency stop, riding in a straight line, checking behind you, etc. There
will also be an on the road part of probably less than 10 miles at a low speed to put into practice what you’ve learned.
There will be a maximum of 6 students in the class. You’ll need to bring your bike, a helmet, and the clothes you usually wear when riding.
Registration is first come, first served. You must register via email. No phone or in-person registers will be accepted.
WHAT A BARGAIN! The fee for members taking the class is only $15.00 Payable at the start of class. No, that’s not a typo. You’ll be getting WAY more
