Program: 

Mike Appel and Club member Bob Esper will give a presentation about “Cycling School”. This program provides about 800 urban 4^th and 5^th graders educational bike rides on the CVNP Towpath. 16 schools in Cleveland and Akron participate in this activity. Silver Wheels has supported this effort in the past and we will get a better understanding of what it’s all about.

And part two of our double feature will be a representative from the Lorain County Metroparks. We will learn of their recently completed 10 year strategic plan. The plan includes accomplishments from the last 10 years and what’s in store for the next 10 years. Learn the critical steps needed for success in the future.

• At the general membership meeting, I will be taking orders for Silver Wheels jerseys.  These are the bright green and orange jerseys that our club president designed.  They make perfect holiday gifts and seem to last forever.  If those of you who currently have one could possible bring it to the meeting so that folks could see sizes, I would appreciate it.  Checks can be made out to Silver Wheels Cycling Club for $55 for the short sleeve and $60 for the long sleeve.  We need a few more of each style to qualify for the minimum price listed.
