Celebrating the founding of the club with its 27 years of promoting recreational cycling, and another excuse to ride and eat - and the Club is buying!  We will again meet at the scenic Vermilion Valley Vineyards.

Vermilion Valley Vineyards

If the weather is good or bad, we will still meet and eat - we always eat.

The Club will be providing a taco bar and a birthday cake.

Also welcome are dessert and side donations from the bakers/cooks among the membership.

Wine - you're on your own.

Please bring your own reusable place setting. We will have stuff in case you forget but we are trying to reduce our waste stream.

Due to the Club supplying the food, we request that you register your desire to participate.  (Just click on the blue button to the left and fill-in the requested information.)  Registration is NOT required, but it certainly helps cut down of food waste.

Rides

Level     Leader          Miles        Route

1*           Westover     21            1* Route

2*            Weber         21            2* Route

3*            Gach           25            3* Route

4*            Nagle          42             4* Route = 2* Route x 2 ^^^

^^^ - Double up the 2* Route.  There'll be an option to cut the second lap short and just head north on Quarry back to Garfield if the weather is poor.

NOTE:  If a star chase is indicated it means two rides of adjacent levels are using the same route.  Unlike a typical club ride, the leader of the higher level ride will not slow the group to accommodate riders unable to maintain the pace, instead leaving them to be picked up by the trailing, lower level group.  The lowest level participating group will leave no rider behind.

In the past we have had some lovely weather for Founding Day Event. It’s usually one of the best attended rides of the year! Come help celebrate the founding of our bike club.
