A Club favorite event, out where there is a lot of room to ride!
These rides are a star chase. Both rides use the same route. Unlike a typical Club ride, the leader of the faster group will not slow down for riders unable to maintain the pace, leaving them to be picked up by the trailing group. The trailing group will leave no rider behind.

New folks. If you are confused about who to ride with, just ask someone to point you to a ride leader or other veteran member, who will help to get you in the appropriate riding group. It can be a bit hectic just prior to ride time, so an early arrival is suggested.
After the rides a lot of the folks get together for a little pizzaraderie at a local eatery. Not mandatory - but fun. Ask around if interested.

FALL PICNIC
Event honoring the folks that make this club work - the ride leaders. If you have led a ride, been on a ride led by a leader, intend to go on a ride led by a leader in the future, or just want to see what a ride leader looks like from the front, this event is for you. Here’s another chance to socialize, share a meal and talk about all the great events that our ride leaders have put together, including a wrong turn or two. All members and guests welcome.
The location is the same as last year, 12837 Diagonal Road, LaGrange, OH, 44050, (across from Carlisle Visitor Center), hosted by Joe and Kathy Yourkiewicz.
The club is providing food from Lorenzos. We will have pizza, lasagna, salad, and rolls. It is not necessary to bring food, but you may if you wish. Do bring your own beverages. We have some chairs but some people will need to bring some. Planning to eat at 2:00. We ask that you register, (by clicking the blue box to the left). It makes it so much easier for the planners to get an idea of how much food to order.
New folks, come, socialize, hear the stories - some of them may be true - .and find out how much fun you missed this year. This event requires no riding, a helmet is not needed, and no miles are earned.
Contact me directly with any questions.

Here’s where help is needed:
Soup Suppliers: Six to eight soup makers are needed (we will leave the pots of chili for the November Chili Wiener Ride. Contact Eva if you can volunteer to supply soup.
Potluck Contributors: Members are welcome (not mandatory) to bring salads, breads, crackers, desserts, etc. You don’t have to sign up to indicate what you are bringing in advance - you bring it, we'll eat it. If you have nothing to bring, come anyway. We only ran out of food once – but that is another story.
Soup “Sentries”: 2 or 3 people are needed to help set up tables and chairs, buffet table, watch the crockpots, stir the soup, and set out buffet items for lunch. Soup sentries will not be riding. Contact Eva if you can help with this role.
Room Restorers: Help take down the tables and fold and stack the chairs. You don’t have to sign up in advance, just be around to help when we wrap up.
Ride Leaders: Ride leaders for all star levels needed, +/– rides are also welcome. Contact Tom if you are willing to plan and lead a ride.
